Getting to Wimbledon
Wimbledon is easy to get to from all over London & Surrey. The trick is to use the overland rail, rather than the tube (underground).
Trains from Waterloo Station leave for Wimbledon every 4 minutes, stopping at Clapham Junction, and arriving at Wimbledon in just 15 minutes.
The tube from Earls Court Station takes just 20 minutes to Wimbledon.
Alternatively take the overland train from Kingston to Wimbledon in around 20 minutes.
A reliable route is to go to Waterloo Station and take the overland train to Wimbledon.
Alternatively go to Earls Court Station and take the District Line tube to Wimbledon, although this will probably be slower.
Alternatively take the Thameslink train from Kings Cross Station directly to Wimbledon, although these trains are irregular and slow as they go round south London.
Take the Northern Line tube to South Wimbledon and then bus number 57 into Wimbledon.
If you're coming from around Croydon take the Tramlink from Croydon town centre to Wimbledon. This takes around 20 minutes.
Alternatively take the overland train to Clapham Juntion and change to platform 11 for trains to Wimbledon.
